update 9.0.1

New Here ,
Feb 20, 2014 Feb 20, 2014

If my server is at 9.0.1 with no hot fixes and I want to get to 9.0.1 up to date with the latest hotfixes up to apsb13-27. Do I install the cumulative hotfix 4 for coldfusion-901 as described in http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/cumulative-hotfix-4-coldfusion-901.html and then install apsb13-27 (update 11) as described in http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-security-hotfix-apsb13-27.html?

I don't need to install cumulative hotfix 1, 2 & 3 first; right? Cummulative hotfix 4 includes 1, 2 & 3; right?

One other question, from people that have done this type of upgrade...is it pretty safe? I plan to test pretty thoroughly on dev before doing the same on prod, but I was wondering if others have seen very many issues when doing this?

Hi Rodney,

With apsb13-27 use section 2 for 9.0.1.

You would also do well to apply apsb13-19.

CHF4 includes 1 2 3.

After CHF4 + apsb13-19 + apsb13-27 you will have these JARs in ColdFusion9\lib\updates

chf9010004.jar

hf901-00011.jar

After CHF4 you might like to be aware this implements a new setting in ColdFusion, Post Parameter Limit. Read more about that here:

HTH, Carl.
