username driven virtual/dynamic directories appended to domain??

Hi,

I would like my users to be able to send/view their profile page via a link from my domain w/their user name appended (i.e. mydomainname/username). However I would like a solution where I don't need to create true os directories and files for each user. I am sure there is an efficient way to do this but I don't know what it is.....any help would be great!!

I am using CF 8 with IIS 7

Have a read up on IIS' URL rewriting module. It's pretty straight forward to use.
