Will a hotfix for 7.0.2 work for ColdFusion 7.0.0

Hi I wanted to install the hotfix

CVE-2009-1872 and CVE-2009-1877 Hotfix for ColdFusion 7.0.2

I have ColdFusion 7.0.0

Will this work? Would it cause any problems?

I would imagine that it will cause major problems if you apply a hotfix to the wrong version. Why not upgrade to 7.0.2 first?

Thanks Peter for your response. I did a google search for just that 7.0.0 to 7.02 and found nothing. Can you give me a recommendation on how to get the 7.0.2 version? (By the way I did put the 7.0.2 on my location laptop and now iis is giving a 500 error)

ColdFusion 7 is no longer supported by Adobe, as such I don't think you can download it anymore off of their site.

It's all about buying the new stuff!

I did notice that they didn't fix the issue until 9.0.1

So, I guess it's time for me to upgrade from 7 to 9
