ZingChart license question

New Here ,
Feb 16, 2018 Feb 16, 2018

We have an Enterprise CF11 License and would like to know what that grants us in terms of 3rd party software. Specifically ZingCharts ?

There is a license file in: ColdFusion11/cfusion/wwwroot/CFIDE/scripts/chart/license.js which can be applied, successfully to the current version of ZingCharts (2.6.3)

Does an Enterprise license of CF11 grant us license to ZingCharts as well?

Thank you

per conversation with Jeff  Product Manager @ ZingChart:

Regarding use of ZingChart via your Adobe Coldfusion licensing:

You have licensing for CFChart via your CF license.  You do not have license or OEM license to ZingChart.  If you would like to use ZingChart directly we are happy to provide you a quote for licensing and do provide discounts to CF users.

In general, any licensed functionality included with CF is intended to be used by CF only, in the ways that CF exposes for you to use that functionality. CF includes tons of third-party tools, and CF-specific APIs for those tools. You're not supposed to use the tools themselves directly. Some of the third-party tools included in CF actually have cost more than CF itself! I don't know if that's true any more, but it has been true in the past.
