Hi,

We would like to know on how to setup Coldfusion datasource when Net Sec is enabled on Oracle DB.

Our DBAs have enabled Network Encryption for our Oracle datasources (Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle 11g - 11.2.0.4 RAC). We are now getting this error:

ORA-12660: Encryption or crypto-checksumming parameters incompatible

Is there anything specific we need to do to support Network Encryption?

Example JDBC URL, we use with the CF “Other” datasource:

jdbc:macromedia:oracle://192.168.xx.xxx:1516;ServiceName=CFAPP.fda.gov;

AlternateServers=(192.168.xx.xxx:1516);LoadBalancing=true;ConnectionRetryCount=5;

ConnectionRetryDelay=5;

We use the ‘Other’ datasource because we use RAC and the ‘Oracle’ datasource does not seem to support RAC.

Regards,

Vidya
