There’s a license.properties file which holds the value of the license key for CF, if any. If there is no license, it reverts to Dev edition on next restart.

Not sure how being on AWS changes things, really, if at all. I’d start with checking that file first, and then share what you find with Adobe if you go down that route.

The licensing works differently for CF servers provided by Amazon.
