We have an application that makes heavy use of binds, in particular between related cfselects. When we moved our application from CF2010 to CF2016 the binds and binds on load fail on one of the large forms with over 100 (320 to be exact) form variables. This post parameter has been appropriately set in the CF Administrator settings page. It works perfectly on a form with much fewer form fields (69) with 9 binds. There are perhaps about 20 binds on the larger form (320 fields) and only one of them works.
What is the problem here and how can I fix this? We are being tasked to upgrade to CF2016 becuase of the enhanced security issues, but the application is heavily dependent on the binds.
I cannot seem to find answers to this anywhere.
Any help will be most appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. Most binds in ColdFusion are related to client-side user-interfaces. The majority of the UIs that were once integrated in ColdFusion are now outdated.
The general advice today is to avoid ColdFusion UIs and, whenever possible, use alternatives. In any case, could you please share with us an example of the form code that is failing.
