Can I hide a cfchartseries when loading a cfchart?

I have a type=line cfchart set up with about 16 cfchartseries  The problem is that it is they all show up upon loading the cfm, and are making chart look too busy. Can anyone suggest a way to only have a few higher level cfchartseries show up upon loading, and the user can then click on the legend to turn on any others they desire? I have done a few hours of research with nothing that really addresses the topic. Any help to get me on the right path would be helpful.

Thanks
