coldfusion10 - just installed it.  could get in before i loaded the updates

server is running fine otherwise

I had this same problem, but ONLY in Internet Explorer.  If I logged on using Firefox or Chrome, there was no issue.

If you're using IE to log on to the CFAdmin, try FF or Chrome and see if that fixes it.

Thank you, WolfShade.I had no success with anything we tried, but after uninstalling and reinstalling, I regained access to administrator.  Hopefully just a one-off.
