I have CF 10 sp 14 running on a Windows 2012R2 Virtual Machin and I need to connect from a win 8.1 client running CF Report Builder 10 to the CF server.
The cf server erver is hosting 2 web sites with seperate IP addresses and a third web site with the CFadmin site.
I have tried all the combinations of the CF RB RDS server setup screens without success.
I can browse the local server folders while setting up the data sources - which I think means that RDS is working.
I also have setup individual users with RDS access and passwords.
I am using the CFadmin IP address for the Host Name: 172.16.1.242 and port 80 or 443 (I do connect to the admin pages with https)
Typical errors when using Test Connection.
The following error occurred while trying to connect to the RDS Server:
Http/1.1.404 Not Found
Ideas - is this supposed to work?
