We are running CF 10 on Windows 2012 and just this weekend started having a lockup of the ColdFusion server about once a day.  When I look at the services, it shows the ColdFusion Application Server as running, but pages are not served, just an Apache error page saying that the system is unavailable due to maintenance or overloading.  If I restart the ColdFusion Application Server, everything is back to normal.  The Windows Application event viewer shows two events that seem to correspond with the timing of each shutdown:

Log Name: Application

Hello Driver,

You don't say what webserver is in use EG IIS, Apache?

Is this the error that appears when CF10 stops serving pages?

Service Temporary Unavailable! The server is temporarily unable to service your
request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again latter.
Jakarta/ISAPI/isapi_redirector/1.2.32 ()

Any errors or warnings in ColdFusion10\config\wsconfig\N\ "ISAPI log" or "MOD_JK log" where
log file name depends on webserver?

Any errors in ColdFusion10\cfusion\logs\coldfusion-out.log at the time or leading up to time when
CF10 stops serving pages?

What update level is CF10?

Has WSCONFIG been run to manually update connector, note step applies for IIS and may not be applicable for Apache?

This official CF blog entry could be of assistance:
