I have deployed the cfusion.ear file that got created during the ColdFusion 2016 install. I'm trying to get to ColdFusion admin and I'm receiving the exception below. Has anyone ran into this. I have tried running the hotfix, but still get same error.

@priyanks97293812 did you get this resolved? I am having the same issue

Patrick, what similarities do you share with the opportunity, Matthew? Are you also on websphere? Also getting this on initial launch of the cf admin?
If not a new install, then what changesd before things failed? Have you perhaps recently applied a cf or jvm update? Had a recent crash?
Any of the above could be clues to your resolution

Hi Patrick,
I have deployed WAS8.5.5.13 with Java 8 and it worked without any issue. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to work with Matthew.
I received your email, I will be working with you on this.
Thanks,
Priyank

Patrick did you ever resolve this, perhaps with the kind offer of direct help from Priyank of Adobe? I suspect there's a solution but I didn't dig in further since he was prepared to.

Hi Charlie,
I sent an email to Patrick but never heard back from him. Perhaps, he resolved the issue. I deployed ColdFusion 2016 on WAS8.5.5 with Java 7 and WAS 8.5.5.13 with Java 8 and both worked just fine.
I am unable to reproduce the issue in both Windows/Linux environment, so if anyone has an issue with the deployment. They can contact us and we will help.
Thanks,
Priyank Shrivastava

Hi Priyank,
I received a question about this error today. They tried to deploy a WAR file of CF2016U6 using a cluster of 3 VMs with RedHat Enterprise 7.5 and Weblogic 12.1.3 / JDK 1.8.0_162.
When starting the instances they received this error:

Hi Chris,
Thanks for sharing your query with us.
ColdFusion 2016 J2EE deployment only works on WebLogic 12.2.1 onwards. That is the reason you are getting 'The Monitoring Service not available'. Please try using the WebLogic 12.2.x
I have already asked document team to mention the version, I will check again and update the support matrix.
Thanks,
Priyank
