CF9 Slow

It seems that whenever we receive 3 or more requests, JRUN pegs the processor and the system crawls extremely slow. Even after the requests complete, JRun doesn't seem to release its resources and the system continues to crawl until the CF service is restarted. All the Request Limits are set to 10 and the JRun master request limits are 50 for running and 1000 for queued. This is CF 9 Enterprise running on a Windows Server Standard machine with 4GB RAM, dual processor, and 32-bit OS.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

There can be any of the below reason for this slowness:-

  1. CF server might not be having enough max heap allocation.
  2. A few specific threads are encountering deadlock scenario.
  3. some code snippets of a page improperly written sans better memory/thread utilization.

This would need detailed analysis, it would be best to contact at  cfinstal@adobe.com for this concern.
