I just installed the developer edition of Coldfusion 2018 and I navigate to the administrator http://servername:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm, I log in and it goes to the administrator page and the entire page is disabled, I can't do anything, search or and of the icons are all disabled.  Any ideas?

I figured it out, I had the administrator under a different site that wasn't pointing to the correct scripts folder and it couldn't find jquery.

It is.  I should also add I have Coldfusion 11 installed and the administrator page for 11 works fine, on the same machine with the same web browser.

Did you install any web server connectors yet?

What do you see if you view the network requests using Developer Tools in your browser?

I'm seeing this issue, but I don't know what to make of this answer. What does this mean? What steps need to be taken to fix this?

What version of cf are you using? And what url to get to the admin? Those clues will help make recommendation.

As for the answer, they refer to "site" as if they accessed the cf admin via iis or Apache, but cf2016 and above no longer support accessing the admin that way, by default.  This my questions to you.

My guess is that you or someone changed your cf admin to use a different value for its setting "default script src", but the web server doesn't know about it. Check out these posts from Pete F with details that may help you resolve this (yes, when you can't get into the admin to change anything).
