Does Coldfusion mx7 run on Oracle 11g? What is the alternative if not compatible?

MX7 will only support up to 10g I believe. Alterantivly you can use MS SQL 2005 if available.
You will be hard pushed to get any support higher then that without upgrading Coldfusion
