I get this error trying to map a microsoft access database with cold fusion 18 dev. edition on windows 10,64 bits....

Connection verification failed for data source: Labarque

java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.

The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.

Yes, those are the settings I meant. Before we go any further, is there any particular reason you're sticking with MS Access? if your provider offers MySQL, say, you should go with that.

Folks, I would point out that cf2018 doesn't list ms access as a supported db any longer:

So I don't know if you're going to get this working. Even in 2016 and 11 it took extra steps. Danbou,  what were you using before 2018?

also, hostek who is hosting my application runs with CF16 and it works with my access database...

I guess i could install cf16 dev. edition on my computer if I knew I could get it to work with my access databases...
