playing swf without plash player

Hi! I am working on a website project in which they require to play swf videos without installing Flash Player. It was tested on iPad it is not possible to view the videos. Is there a way to solve this in CF?

You might want to talk to whom ever is writing your requirements.  Unless you are going to convert your videos that are in swf format to something else you will need to use the Flash player.  Also, it is not possible to use Flash on any iOS device.  Also, swf files are not video files but can contain video.

This is not a ColdFusion issue as it is more of a bad requirements issue.

Thank you for your quick answer. I am very new to CF and really confused with this issue. The website was created in CF and has lots of swf animations and they really want it to work on iDevices... So this is just not possible without converting them to another format, right?

iDevices playing swf files is not a ColdFusion issue.  It doesn't matter what your website was created in you will have the same issue.  You would need to convert them.  But, you just can't blindly convert them and then magically have a mobile site.  Sounds more to me like you may need to create a secondary, mobile friendly, site and not try and rework your main site.
