Hi there,

I try to create a DSN using ODBC Socket on Coldfusion Standard 2016 (OS Windows Server 2016) and i receive this error :

java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.

The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][SequeLink Server]The specified data source is not defined.

When i try the same on Coldfusion Standard 2016 (OS Windows Server 2012) everything works fine.

It seems that Windows 2016 no longer support SequelLink Connectors.

Any idea to bypass This or do i need to downgrade to Windows 2012 ?

Thanks and sorry for my English.

Hello,

According to this link, SequeLink is not supported in Windows Server 2016.

Unfortunately, I have not found anything on Google indicating any kind of workaround, nor any plans to have Windows Server 2016 support SequeLink.

If at all possible, I'd see if there's a native JDBC driver for your database. Most have them nowadays.
