According to the LG website this is a DCI-P3 (wide gamut) monitor.

That means you must use color managed software only! with this unit. It will not - ever - display correctly without full color management.

You also need to use a calibrator to profile it, so that the color managed applications have a valid monitor profile to work with.

There are no exceptions to this. This is the deal you implicitly accept when purchasing a wide gamut unit, and LG or the dealer should have informed you of this.

Leave all application color settings at defaults. That's not where the issue is - lack of color management is.

Just one little thing by extension: always remember to convert to sRGB before saving jpegs for web. Again, without color management this will not display correctly on a wide gamut monitor. But it will be roughly right on standard monitors. That's the best you can do.

Lightroom exports to Photoshop as ProPhoto by default. Either convert to sRGB in Photoshop, or set Lightroom's External Editing preference accordingly. If you use Save For Web / Export, check the boxes for Convert to sRGB and Embed Profile.

But let me repeat: With that monitor, you can only use color managed applications, and you really need to learn the basics so that you know what's going on. Using wide gamut displays is unproblematic as long as you take your precautions and know what you're looking at.
