Hi

This is really a question for Apple not Adobe.

I'll try shed some light.

I have been concerned by such errors in that OSX Colorsync Utility / Profile First Aid dialog and eventually have simply learned to ignore them.

No one can tell you what the errors mean or whether they are important, it seems.

By all means click on repair there in OSX Colorsync Utility / Profile First Aid,

After that, any errors you will see here are unlikely to affect profile usability.

You have a tool reporting some profiles are wrong. But is the tool correct?  What do the makers of S.O.S. Profile say?

Hi Test Screen Name,

I believe he is looking at the French Version of the OSX Colorsync Utility window, thus this is really a question for Apple support

I would recommend using ColorThink Pro for profile analysis and repairs.  Color Think is quite descriptive about errors and also contains a tool to repair the problems quickly and easily.

Bob is right, Colorthink Pro is a great tool for ICC profiles.

However,

My OSX Colorsync Utility / Profile First Aid flagged up ever 250 errors, as a test, I selected "repair" and now I have 54 errors

Next I open Colorthink Pro / Medic and it lists lots of errors but does not fix them when fix all is clicked.

In the OSX Colorsync Utility / Profile First Aid I still have 54 errors

I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. .

I hope this helps
