I am running a videosignal from a HDMI-output camera through a Magewell HDMI> USB converter and it works fine, but Adobe Connect changes the 16:9 picture to a 4:3 old fashioned aspect

Has anyone solved that problem?

Have you changed the setting on the Video pod to be 16:9 instead of 4:3?

I have had limited success with the Magewell HDMI  to USB converter.  It properly displays 16x9 when I change the settings in Connect to 16x9 but I find that after a few hours online that the video starts experiencing frequent drop-outs.

This is on a new system that we just upgraded and also on my usual webcast encoder with two separate HDMI to USB converters so I feel the issue is isolated to the Magewell device and Adobe Connect because the old system, with an SD Osprey capture card, didn't experience any drop-outs.

That's really a bad experience.

We use capture from SEETEC: www.seetec.cn/

And works very well.

It supports:

XSplit, Adobe, Livestream and so on.
