Hi there,

I'm new to the Adobe Connect application, but we just recently upgraded our Adobe Connect from 7.0 to 7.5.  We can access the configuration page and settings, but we cannot access it locally on our server or URL.  The error we are getting is this:

The application you are attempting to access is unavailable

The agency application server that provides the function you are attempting to access is not available at this time.

This could be due to the server being offline or a network problem.

This started happening after we installed the new version.  So far we have tried the following troubleshooting steps

  • restarting the server
  • re-doing the configuration settings.
  • Stopped and started the services adobe connect and flash media.
  • Checked ports.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time.

Best to call this into Adobe Support so they can look at your logs and diagnose the issue. Too many variables to consider and diagnose via this forum.

A lot of times what happens is the MS SQL database password is forgotten or gets messed up and so the Connect server cannot reach the SQL database. Support can determine from the logs why the server is not starting.
