Hello,
I have been trying to get the Adobe Connect Add-In installed on our Windows Server 2012 R2 instances. The problem I am running into is that I add the adobeconnectaddin.exe application to our roaming profiles but it does not launch correctly. It gets stuck at "Loading Adobe Connect..."
Is there any way I can solve this? Our roaming profiles are stored on a separate file server and are not stored locally on each server. Adobe Connect doesn't look on the regular server it is looking at the file server where the roaming profile is stored.
Since the Add-In is now required to run Adobe Connect we really need to find a way to make this work.

The Connect Add-in hasn't every really worked with roaming profiles. You may want to talk to Adobe Support, Adobe Connect Help | Adobe Connect Support , and see if they ever found a solution for it.
As to the add-in being required, it is not. The add-in's need to be used hasn't changed from if you are screen sharing or uploading PPTX files. It can help with video and VoIP quality, but isn't required. So if your users aren't doing that, then it may not be worth the fight to get it installed and working on roaming profiles.

Thanks for the response. From what I have found online it doesn't seem like there is a fix in place. The only problem with that is many of our users are on thin clients and only operate in our server environment which means they wouldn't be able to use the screen sharing or PPT sharing capabilities.
Do you know if Adobe has a support email that I could contact them with?

I worked with support over the phone and by email. They said an issue with Flash Player prevents the Add-In from working on redirected folders.
The man I was working with did say there was a way to change where Adobe Connect looks for the Add-In but he said that it only works if you host your own instances. If someone else hosts your instance it cannot be applied. He said you need to edit the SWF file I believe in order to change where it looks for the Add-In.
