Adobe Connect: Aspect Ratio on external webcam

Hi,

I am having a problem when I use my Logitech HD 720p webcam in Adobe Connect. It is coming in as the 4:3 aspect ratio, but it is scrunched up and narrow. When I use the built-in webcam on my Mac, it comes in at 4:3 and perfect quality.

I've checked the Logitech software and it broadcasts correctly, whether set to 4:3 or widescreen.

I've changed the aspect ratio within Adobe Connect and it hasn't helped a bit.

Anyone else had similar problems?

I apologize, I use the Logitech 9000 and it works fine in either ratio mode.  We always use wide screen.  Have you tried updating drives from the website?

I have the C920. Are you referring to downloading Adobe drivers? Or Logitech?

Logitech says the problem needs to be fixed by Adobe Connect.

Did they say what Adobe needed to do or anything about the cause of the issue?

They just said if the camera is working for all other apps (FaceTime, Hangouts, etc.) then it's a problem with Adobe Connect. Is there any way to set the aspect ratio or crop?

Hi!

So I originally posted this about 18 months ago. I had stopped using the Logitech camera because despite downloading new drivers, etc, nothing worked.

Because of your reply to my post, I got curious and hooked up the Logitech to see if the problem remained. Imagine my surprise when the camera works perfectly!

What changed? In the past 18 months I've had a failed hard drive and updated my OS to 10.12. Also, Adobe Connect has updated as well.

Unfortunately I have no idea when or why my camera started working better.
