Choronology of events

  1. I copied the url https://vup.adobeconnect.com/hrm724group2/ and pasted it in my Firefox browser 52.0 (32-bit).
  2. The login window opened.
  3. I put in the login credentials, clicked enter.
  4. A window appeared with message Loading Adobe connect.
  5. The window kept on like this for 15 minutes with no further result.
  6. I ran the trouble shooting diagnostics of Adobe connect which told me that all was ok i.e.
    1. My version of flash player is supported
    2. Adobe connect connection test shows connected.
    3. Connection speed is DSL/Cable speed.
    4. Adobe connect Add-in installed.

7. I restarted my computer and tried the whole process again with the same result.

What may be the problem?

Try using this link, it will use the Flash Player in your browser rather than the Add-in: Adobe Connect Login

You may want to un-install and reinstall the Add-in, and see if that also helps. Sometimes something just gets corrupted and a fresh install can resolve that.

Glad the ?launcher=false trick worked!
