Adobe Connect for on-premise deployments comes with its own instance of Adobe Media Server and Flash Media Gateway. Using a different Adobe Media Server will not have the Flash Media Gateway product, which is leveraged for SIP communications with Adobe Connect.

If you have an on-premise deployment of Adobe Connect, then you'll need to configure the Flash Media Gateway to the SIP server/provider of choice. This is discussed here: Deploy Universal Voice

Once that is done, or if you are using an account hosted by Adobe, you will need to configure a Universal Voice profile to leverage your teleconference provider. It is worth noting that if you are hosted by Adobe you'll need to have a toll free number for Connect to call into. Setting this up is discussed here: Adobe Connect User Community
