Hey Adobe, Is there any update on this in the last 3 years? I feel like I am traveling back in time, having to manually download each recording one by one.

If you find a solution, please let everyone know. The lack of a way to

batch download is perhaps the most critical shortfall of the Connect back

end support.

I just chatted with support and they informed me that there is no way to batch download at this time.  What a pain.

Nor are there any plans to implement such a solution. I guess this is not

a feature the lack of which causes loss of market share. Yet.

We have a cumbersome system for doing this using the API and a lot of dedicated server power.
We use the API to find recent recorded classes at Capitol Technology University, and have a server with a terabyte drive automatically cue three or four recordings at a time and watch them simultaneously to make offline downloaded versions. The algorithm staggers them by length, so first the 45 min. ones, then the longer ones, up to four hours. Yes, the computer has to "watch" them for four hours to make the downloads. This means you need a dedicated monitor connected, especially since the "Make Offline" functions in the Adobe Connect Add On are not accessible compliant (they have no keyboard shortcuts to get through the dialogue boxes) so we needed a monitor and use a Sikuli script to find and press the buttons. Then when all the recordings are done and cleared from the hopper, it automatically runs the API again to find the new batch. We barely catch up in the weekends, but we usually can guarantee our students that they can download a recording within 48 hrs of its creation. I designed an LTI tool to present the recordings (streaming or downloads) in Canvas.
