I ran into an issue with adode connect 9 in which my camera video would display in preview. however, when i select the 'share' option to share the video with meeting participants the video pad screen is black, but the videopad container says it is displaying my video signal.

please note that i was able to/had no issues with the video signal display/transmission using the same video source in adobe connect 8.

I'll guess the Connect 9 addin is misbehaving, as it does with my Osprey 230 cards. Try uninstalling the addin and see if the problem goes away. Of course, the missing addin will keep you from doing screen sharing and uploads. But, if you don't do screen sharing, and can do your uploads from another PC, this might tide you over until Adobe gets the Connect 9 addin fixed (if ever?).

FYI, the add-in is not required to upload files to Connect any more. Only to drag and drop files in the share pod and share your screen.

Great! So, the Osprey 230 workaround could be to simply uninstall the AC 9 addin and never permit any system requests to re-install it. One would just have to do screen sharing from a different PC, which we could do for about half of our Osprey 230 installations. Besides screen sharing, are there any other AC 9.02 actions which require the AC 9 addin to be present?
