We have a large call that we don't want the chat to be available for everyone. Is there a way to make the chat only go to the presenter and host?

Ah, that makes sense. No that function isn't available in the Chat pod. However, that is basically how the Q&A pod works. You should see if that meets your needs.

Otherwise, you may be looking at a custom chat pod.

Yes, use the Presenter Only Area (POA). You can enable it in the following in room menu: Meetings > Enable Presenter Only Area.

Place a chat pod there and only those in the room with Presenter or Host rights will be able to see and interact with it. In fact, there should be a chat pod there labeled Presenter Chat.

Hi Jorma - I should have been clearer, is there a way to disable the chat with "everyone" versus just the hosts/presenters? I see you can disable private chats between participants, but not a way to make it so they can only chat with the hosts/presenters.
