Can Participants use the pointer in a share pod?

Hi all,

We have a requirement for participants to use the pointer feature on a share pod (they will be pointing to their own country on a map) So far the only way to achieve this is to grant presenter rights to the participants which is not something we want to do. There could be potentially a large number of participants and we dont want to run the risk of them closing down pods/altering the meeting layout etc.

Is there a way around the above?

There is not a way to modify how the pointer works, and what rights are needed to use it. However, there is a custom pod that would likely better suit your needs. It is the Location Map, and it is free!
