I'm using Safari in MacOs Sierra, and I can launch a room just fine, I can start the webcam and audio, etc., however, the only thing I can share is the whiteboard. Whenever I try to share my screen, I get a message saying the add-in is required, and do I want to download it? But I'm in adobe connect already.... sharing a whiteboard and talking... I just can't share anything else!
Any thoughts on a solution to this one?
I have updated Safari's preferences to allow Adobe Flash and "Trust" it, and in Security I've updated the accessibility section to allow the connect-add in to control.
I have "redownloaded" many times, updated Flash, installed from the "Help" menu.... and at this point I'm at a loss to figure out why I can't share my screen.
Help?

The Add-in (now the App) is required to share your screen. Using the Flash player in your web browser will allow you to do most functions in Connect, but not screen sharing.
You can download the Add-in from the prompt that comes up in the room or by downloading the installer at the Connect downloads page. Adobe Connect Downloads and Updates

My apologies. I should have said I've updated Flash and Adobe Connect many times. It is Adobe Connect Add-in that is saying I need to download it, and it asks do I want to? If I select yes, it appears to download it in 1 second, and launches. If I say no, it has the same behavior. I have manually downloaded the Adobe Connect package and it shows that it is installed inside the www.macromedia.com folder on MacOs.

The App or Add-in shouldn't ask about installing itself. It is the browser not recognizing or being allowed to access the app. Providing a screen shot of the message you are receiving will help clarify the issue.
With the new App, you should be able to launch it outside of your browser and give it the URL for the room you wish to access and it will open it in the App. Have you tried that?
