Me too!! Guess i'll sit here with ya and wait for an answer.

I get the message even when I try to UNinstall to try and re-install

It starts with my Adobe 8 not opening and getting forced to close.

Then it offers me to download version 9.1

then 1606

Does it say somthing to this affect?

Error 1606. Could not access network location <Common Administrative Tools>.All users\.

These sort of errors are Windows errors which is why you run into the between any applications it seems to choose to affect.

Are you on a network?

What version of Windows are you using and Service Pack number?

If you are using Vista make sure you are installing/running as an administrator if you don't already, but chances are you know that and just thought "umm...no" in your head when reading that.

This link will take you to an instruction page on how to edit your registry

to fix the problem.

It's a little tedious...so if you're not real comfortable with it, get some

help.

Fixed me immediately!! Thumbs Up!!
