I received the following error when trying to upload a powerpoint presentation to a Shared Folder in Connect Central.

"Your content is currently being processed.  Thank you for your patience."

I was able to upload the presentation using the "Browse my computer" option within a share pod, but I was wondering if someone knew why I received the error in the first place.

On occasion that might happen, so you should try to delete and then create a new upload.  If you upload to the share pod, you can always move the content to the content library by going to the meeting room and looking at the uploaded content tab, check what you want to move, click move and then choose the folder you want to move it to.  It should take on the permissions of the folder you put it in.

Hi there. If you want to send me a private msg with the name of the Presentation (or the name of the Powerpoint file itself) and the URL you were trying to upload to (the full .adobeconnect.com address), along with the approximate date/time, I can look in the logs on our end to see if I can find the specific error or reason why the upload initially failed.  When you upload content, a sco container gets created right away but sometimes the actual raw files that were pushed to the server, run into a problem with the conversion to Flash (if you are talking about a Powerpoint slide deck) and then you see that message indefinitely.  I can look to see what happened if you are unable to push this to the Content directory.  Also, our support team should be able to peek at the server-side logs to try to identify a possible reason for why this is failing.  Sometimes we can identify a specific thing on a specific slide that could be causing the problem.  There is a slight difference in the backend with the way Presentations are converted using either Adobe Presenter (client-side plug-in for Powerpoint), Content Directory upload, or direct Meeting upload.

Otherwise, what Tom said is also a good option. You can move the content that was uploaded /converted successfully in the meeting room, to the Shared Content area or any personal content folder you want, in the Connect Central user interface by going to the Uploaded Content area of the meeting, and using the 'Move to Folder' functionality.

If you cannot upload the PowerPoint presentation to a Shared Folder or a Share Pod then the presentation may contain content that cannot be rendered by Adobe Connect.
