Back in July, Adobe's tech support said they would be working to fix the bug that causes meeting participants to see a substitute mouse pointer instead of the real mouse pointer that the presenter sees. Does anyone know if this fix has been done, yet? Because of this bug, I have to use WebEx, and I really don't like it.

I don't believe bug is the correct term here. This substitute mouse icon was a decision by the product team. I'm not totally sure if it is a performance issue or something else, but it is worth bringing up to the product team again. Feel free to post the request here: http://www.connectusers.com/forums/cucbb/viewforum.php?id=46

"It's not a bug, it's a feature." LOL.
I submitted this months ago and spoke with them at length about it. This "feature" makes Connect completely unsuitable for software training, which is amazing, considering it's made by one of the world's biggest software companies, whose software depends on a wide variety of pointers. That's why I think of it as a bug. Thanks, though.

I agree that it is a change that is long overdue. I have seen connect show actual mouse icons, in beta versions, so I know it is possible. Now would be a good time to start rallying support for this update in Connect 9!

You've seen that in the beta? Cool, I'm going to contact them and see if I can test it. Thanks!

Not the current beta, I don't believe one is going now. But in a previous verison of Connect, I know I saw it... just don't remember which version.

I agree with tunghoy. It makes Connect a particularly unsuitable method for sharing a screen in a Photoshop demo.
