Installation of Presenter 11.1 trial fails

The link for Presenter support takes me to thei forum.

I am unable to install Presenteter 11.1 trial. I repeatedly get the window that says my system is outdated. I have run all Windows 10 updated. The link on the dialog takes me to a web page that discusses using IE. However, on other web pages, I see that Adobe is no longer supporting IE for logins. All this is rather obsure about what is failing. The page mentions that all Adobe software must also be the latest version. Out of frustration, I removed ALL Adobe software. I am still unable to install.

This software is still offered on the Adobe site for a subscription, but apparently without a support forum. I appreciate any help to install this. I have some previous presentations that I need to fix slide errors. I would actually very pleased if Adobe were to continue to update this product, or at least get it so that the trial can be installed. The setup file is dated 2018.

I should have added that I also applied the registry fix that is provided to satisfy the IE workaround. https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html#fix-error

Presenter is likely gasping it's last breaths at this point. If you can use Captivate, I'd suggest shifting to that. Otherwise you may be looking at another software company's tools.

Chances are it's seeing something on your computer that it just doesn't understand (I've not tried to install Presenter recently so I'm not sure what it looks for). It seems that if it was on your system previously, it continues to work[ish], but I don't know that there is going to be much that can be done with a software application that was released 4 years ago, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but best to just be honest about it.

Yes, thanks. I was able to install a university licensed version and I found elsewhere a flash workaround that I was able to apply. My critical need to to fix some errors in previous presentations. Sorry to see this tool discontinued becuuse it was so easy for students to navigate compared to movies and it was also very nice to edit the graphics on a slide while keeging the same narrative.

Glad to hear it was worked out. I agree that it's a shame that it's going away. I always liked Presenter and loved that it was very easy to work in PPT while authoring for the web.
