Is there a way to have an AV meeting but record audio only?

Hi, I am new with using Adobe Connect meeting and am using it for a dissertation. I have to hold an online focus group and later have the audio transcribed. I would like to hold the meeting so that I can see video (for purposes of noting nonverbal cues), but I do not want the video recorded; I only want to record audio. Is this possible?

No, this isn't possible. Adobe Connect records all or nothing.

However, if you you are using a telephone bridge you should be able to cue a recording on that bridge outside of Connect.

Also, if you do record your Connect session, you could download the source files of the recording and extract just the audio, to be used as you see fit.
