Hello,
My company does a series of webinars that we record and then post on our website for clients. In order to do so, we use the feature to save a recording to an FLV file. Before the Connect 8 SP1 upgrade the file sizes averaged 50-70 MB. After the upgrade they are averaging around 200 MB for the same length and content.
Anyone know of a way to lower this file size through Adobe Connect settings? We upload all the recordings to our server after adding a flash wrapper for playback controls, so the increased file size has become a burden.
Thanks,
Kyle

Adobe Connect 8 video was improved from version 7.x. The frames per second was doubled from 10 to 20 at the high end of the preference setting. If you are using the highest video setting then you are now recordng video at 20 frames per second versus 10 before. That improved video substantially but also increased the amount of data in the room. You can reduce your video settings in the preferences area which would decrease the data but also decrease your quality.
