Limiting Access to Presentations

Hello all,

Is there a simple way to limit access to Breeze/Connect Presenter presentations to self-enrolled users who get the admin's approval?

What our instructor would like to do is post a link to a presentation, then have users self-register and she'll approve them. She doesn't want to pre-enroll users or maintain the user accounts after verifying completions.

Any suggestions for how best to do this without too much complication?

I've been advised that creating an Event (with the presentation as the event content) and inviting users as guests is one way to do it, but it seems counterintuitive to create an event for asynchronous training, not to mention confusing for the end user.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Sue P.
