I am a regular Abobe connect user and had major problems today when leading a class. Microphone is connected to computer, and shows up in microphone menu when I run the audio setup wizard, but when I press "record" to test it - nothing will record. I tried this with 3 external mics (both USB and bluetooth) and no microphones would record. They DID work for the speaker test, just not the microphone.
3 minutes before my class launched, I finally found a second computer and logged on with that one - all the devises / microphones worked fine then.
There is obviously an issue with my computer (Lenovo Thinkpad x1) or my internet security system (Kaspersky). I have not changed any settings however since the class I led last week - which worked just fine! Any ideas of how I can resolve this? I have class Day #2 tomorrow and it would be MUCH easier if I can use my main computer - the ThinkpadX1.
