Newbie question - How do pre-invite guests?

So I'm trying to find the location to add guests to a planned meeting. Unfortunately I can't find the area where I add the guests email address so that they get the invite.

At the moment I have to send myself the meeting invite then forward this to the guest via regular email, and of course doing it this way they can enter directly and don't need to wait for my acceptance.

Any help would be grateful, and could you also point me to the location in the PDF manual, it seems to be very lean.

Hello,

can you please tell me if you are on a hosted or on premise environment, and what version?

Are you talking about the Meeting -> Edit Participants page, right?

If so, from that page you can only select groups and users that are registered in the system; a Guest user is an anonymous user that is unknown by Connect Pro, so you cannot add guests emails to this.

And in the Meeting -> edit Information page, what did you select as Access? Depending on what you select, the Invitations page changes.

If you have selected "Only registered users and accepted guests may enter the room", the Invitations page will allow you to send the invitation only to registered users, while the selection "Anyone who has the URL for the meeting can enter the room" will change the Invitations page so that it will open your email client to send the invitation.

So, if you don't want the guests to enter your meeting without your consent, just do this:

- create the meeting

- set it to "Anyone who has the URL for the meeting can enter the room"

- go to Invitations, press the Send E-Mail Invitations button to open you email client, fill-in the guests addresses and send the email.

- set the meeting to "Only registered users and accepted guests may enter the room"

- go to Invitations and press the Send button to send the invitations to the registered users (this time, the email will be sent by Connect Pro and not by your mail client).

You can find the manual page about invitations at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AcrobatConnectPro/7.0/connectpro_7_help.pdf, page 16.
