Opt-out for Event Invitations?

Hi -- I am curious if there is a way built into the event module for folks to be able to opt-out of receiving invitations from you?  My Digital Engagment Director was concerned about me using this vehicle to launch all of my training emails because people may not want to receive the invites anymore, but with no ability to opt-out may report us for SPAM violations... anyone else have these concerns.  Is there anything built into the event module to handle this concern?  If so, can you point me in the right direction as I am not seeing it.

Thank you!

The Adobe Connect Events module doesn't have an option for this.  You may want to look at a third party tool that integrates with Connect for that. I'd reccomend ConferenceEdge.

http://www.conferenceedge.com/

If you want, you can contact me off forum jorma[at]realeyes.com, and I'll set up a warm intro to them.

Hi,

I've opened a case to Adobe. I think what you point out is not an option that should be there, it's something mandatory as you correctly say.

And not only for the opt-out on the invites, but also on the reminders, thanks for attending, follow up emails etc.

Adobe must have this option ASAP, or else explain the reason why this is not already there, and a possible turnaround, which should not be what we do now, add a sentence at the bottom of the invitation such as: "If you don't want to receive more emails like this one, reply to it with STOP in the subject line"...

Thanks.
