I have one machine with Adobe Standard X running that is having a problem when combining documents (XLS/DOC) into a PDF.

The error is gets is:  unable to find "Adobe PDF" resource files

Then it asks to repair install.

The repair install button doesn't correct the problem.

I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling.

This error happens to all users (admin or not).

I have this software installed on at least 5 other machines without any problems.

Adobe Reader X is installed on the box (just like the other PCs).

Any suggestions?

Thanks

jason

More information.  TXT files can combine just fine.  Office documents (2003) cannot and throw that error.  Also in Excel for example using the Adobe tool bar option looks like it's going to work but no PDF is created.

Unfortunately, this is the forum for Adobe Connect questions. You would get more answers if you posted this in the proper forum for Adobe PDF.
