Uploading a 1mb jpg and converting is taking forever

Is this normal?  It uploaded very quickly and am now going on 10 minutes of it saying it is converting.

Okay - must have been the original computer I was uploading from.  I tried uploading same images from my laptop computer and it worked just fine.

I wonder what other issues could cause my desktop PC to have issues uploading the files while my laptop (and much newer) had no issues.

It could have been a number of issues. Sometimes there is a momentary blip in the netwrok traffic which stops the upload but the control does not have a way to tell you that.

Another issue could be the Adobe Connect Add-In which has a known issue with file upload and it was fixed with this new add-in :

This add-in worked with all versions of Connect including the upcoming Connect 8 SP1 due in April.
