Uploading PPTX files

I uploaded PowerPoint files for many months, just using the Upload from my Computer option in the Share pod.  Now for some reason, I cannot use that option.  I do not get an error, it just seems to stall on "converting" and never finishes the upload.  The PPTX presentations contain about 10 slides.  I can still upload to the general content location, but don't really want the files there as they are specific only to one layout.

Sorry about that. I suspect corruption of your Adobe Connect Add-in or your Flash instance is problematic. That converting is really a part of Connect that is converting that Powerpoint to Adobe Flash format so it can be streamed using the FMS server part of Connect.

I suggest you try this:

1. Uninstall the Adobe Connect Add-in and Adobe Flash

2. Make sure you've updated MS Office so any fixes are applied.

3. Reinstall Adobe Flash 10.1 or 10.2 or the 10.3 beta

4. Reinstall the latest Adobe Connect 8 Add-in which will work with older Connect versions and has lots of improvements:

Things to try if this does not work:

1. Try another browser like Firefox or Chrome and see if anything changes...if no change...then we need to get Adobe Support involved

Are you using Adobe Connect 8 Hosted or running on your own Adobe Connect Server (on-premise?)

Mac or Windows or Linux?
