I'm looking for documentation on the UI components with Adobe Connect Pro 8. For example, in the upper right corner of a meeting is the connection status indicator. For me, it's always green (which equates to "Excellent"). What are the other options for this indicator? Where is that documented? Another example...in the participants list, the color of the participants icon indicates whether they are a registered user or guest. Final example, when someone is speaking, their microphone or phone icon changes to indicator they are the speaker. What are the different states available for the microphone and phone icons? What I need is documentation on all of these UI elements, their states, and the meaning of those states rather than having to learn them through experiment and observation.

Most of this is documented in the help documentation for Adobe Connect. Here are a couple of links:

I've not seen the status icon documented anywhere, but it has 3 basic states:

The table under "About audio conference status" in the phone icons document you link to is just the type of information I'm looking for across the board. Why isn't the status icon documented? What other (useful) information are we all missing because we don't have inside knowledge about what subtle differences in appearance of icons means?

I believe the status icon is the only un-documented feature that I know of. It has been that way for years, and I suspect it is partly because most people never even know it exists. Most of the status icons have been created to be as easy to understand as possible, but good documentation never hurt.
