Using Connect for Large Meetings - What Equipment Do You Use

We use Connect for larger meetings where the room has 30 or more attendees but we let the rest of the staff attend from their desks.  Since we started, I have used a Canopus box to bring Audio and Video into a Firewire port on a laptop.  We need to upgrade and are looking for a better way to do this especially since we have upgraded our cameras.

Does anyone have a mock up of how they do this at their sites and what equipment do you use.  We are thinking about getting a computer with Audio and video inputs but need some advice.
