When I upload PowerPoint files to Adobe Connect, the bullet point formatting changes. How can I correct this problem?

For reasons unknown on some slides (not all) the formatting of bullet points are showing incorrectly, although everything is okay in the PowerPoint file itself.  Does anyone have any advice for us as to why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hello,

Do you also see font used in the PPTX being changed to some other font? This may happen when font used in your presentation isn't installed on Connect servers. There are other reasons as well, but i would like you to confirm first if the font also has changed or not.

Thanks

The font that I am using (Arial) is not changing. Only the formatting is changing. Sometimes the spacing between the bullet points differs, while other times the bullet point shifts to the left or right. In other cases, text on one line will overlap text on another line. In every case, the formatting in the PowerPoint deck is accurate.

This intermittent behavior may sometime happen in PPT vs PPTX cases.. If you are using a PPTX file, save it as PPT and then upload in meeting. If you are using PPT file, save it as PPTX and then upload it.. I hope this will resolve your issue. Let me know if it still doesn't. We may need to check you presentation then.

Thanks

I am having the same issue ... VERY frustrating!  It does not matter whether I save / upload as .pptx or .ppt ... some of the PowerPoint slides reformat.  I am using Ariel throughout ... so that's not it.  Each of my first bullets are .31, next indent is .75, next indent is 1.19, and next indent is 1.50.  And when I look at my slides ... they are perfect!  Yet ... once upload in adobe connect so I can teach off of them ... some of the bullets have moved!  Can someone help?
