Hi, I am trying to download the Adobe Connect application onto my Lenovo Laptop. It is saying 'download failed'. Any reason why? I need this to open a link for part of my interview process for an upcoming job! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

How are you trying to download this Adobe Program?
Have you installed the Creative Cloud Desktop App?
Do you have a Current, Valid, subscription to use this program or are you trying to install it as a Trial?
Most of the time downloads fail because of some type of File, Folder and or Drive permissions problem. Your User Name is not listed as having the Proper Permissions to Write to whatever folder the download is trying to be saved to.

thanks for your reply.
i have been sent a link via email to access a video that opens with adobe connect. I was using Google chrome and that wasnt working so I also tried Microsoft Egde, but still isnt working.
I have not downloaded the Creative Cloud Desktop App. Do I need to?
I am just using it as a guest. I have tried to access the video from a different laptop device and it seems to work fine.
I have scanned my laptop for any viruses, and am currently installing any pending updates on Windows.
What do I need to do?

Sorry I don't think you need to or should download the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Sorry again But I don't know what you should do.
If you can access the link sent to you on some other device just use that device to View the content.
I am going to move this converstion over to the Connect forum space where you might get better help.

Unless you are going to be doing screen sharing, the desktop app isn't required. You could join in your browser with no downloads required.
If you want the app, just to be sure, you can get it here, https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/connect-downloads-updates.html#Application. If the first option doesn't work, try the stand alone installer.
