I'd like to hide the cursor on the screen share device. Is that possible?

In meeting menu from General Preferences settings .

select the "off" option for Host Cursor.

this will disable the host cursor in your room.

hope this helps.

thanks

I'd already checked that box yet we're wtill seeing it from the screen share device. Is that a local setting on the screen share device or is it global?

I've checked both my host device and the screen sharing device and both have the cursor set to "off" yet we're still seeing it. The screen share device is a Macbook Pro and Connect is running in the add-in via Safari but it also has a virtual PC running within Parallels and we're sharing a PowerPoint from withing the PC. The cursor is visible only in Connect and not on the device screen. Could the whole PC/Mac thing be flummoxing the Connect settings? Is this a bug? Any ideas?

You want to hide your cursor when sharing your screen?

You could always hide the cursor in a corner of your monitor and then use keyboard commands to navigate your application, or, if you have second screen, leave your mouse cursor on the non-shared screen.

There is no method of omitting your cursor from your screen share, as that is part of sharing your screen. There is the option to show the 'application' cursor, instead of the Connect Presenter cursor.

Show application cursor will mask the application cursor and will show you the default app cursor instead of custom host cursor.

When sharing screen the host cursor will be visible it will only be controled when not sharing the screen .

You can hide the cursor by preferences settings when not sharing the screen.
