Our Adobe Connect program consistently sends the following [error] message whenever more than one person/user attempts to logon or join a meeting or session – we need to know how to correct this immediately, please:

 

“user limit for this account has been exceeded”

 

If we have an outdated program(?) or limited account(?), et al, please inform.

This is a common issue when trial accounts are set up. If you set up a trial for Meetings you will need to use the Meetings section of Connect. If you signed up for a Virutal Classroom trial, then you will need to use Virtual Classrooms in the Training section of Connect. If you signed up for a Seminar trial, then you will need to use the Seminars section of Connect. Each section has a group that you must be a member of to unlock the full use of those live meeting functions. 

To host a Meeting you need to be in the Meeting Host group. To host a Virtual Classroom you need to be in the Named Virutal Classroom Manager group. To host a Seminar you need to be in the Named Webinar XXX group, where XXX is the seating capacity of the Seminar room you purchased. 

 

If you use the Meeting section when you have a trial of the other two options, the Meeting room will have a max capacity of 1, and anyone who attempts to join while you are in the room will see the message you describe above.

Hello,

I have the same issue. Yestarday I bought once again licence for Connect Meetings (max 25 users) and when I try to organize meeting I get this issue: The user limit for this account has been exceeded. Contact your meeting organizer for assistance. I've used this SW for 5 years and get such annoying message the first time. Way of creation of meeting is the same now and 5 years ago. Can you help ? ( 0225000000230 and ADB-12747725-D1T ) (It is not trail version)
